The Graphic User Interface (GUI) will be interfaced with the peers (computer) and the relay in this project. The GUI will be implemented using Qt along with Python.
The two peers transmitters will work accordingly to the input given by the user in terms of pressing a button or key in either or both of the peers. When a key is pressed, a scan code is generated against it, which comes from a pre-defined list, and the function is performed according to that code.
On the receiver side, the user starts the GUI application and waits for an incoming signal. Now, it is up to the user to accept or decline the request. When the conversation starts, audio mode is enabled by default. However, the user will be able to press a key to initiate the webcam mode. At the end of the call, both the users have the liberty to terminate the call.
