Automatic Control of Vehicular Communication Systems

The project is a CDIO project, part of a course in Automatic Control at Linköping University.

The development is carried out in cooperation with Scania.

GCDC - Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge 2016

The purpose of platooning, which is the foundation of this project, is to have several
vehicles drive in a column-shaped pattern. The potential benefits of this system are
reduced fuel consumption, reduced traffic congestion and the possibility to have
vehicles partially unattended in following mode.
